Important Information:
Tours at the Springfield MRF take about an hour. Attendees will go both upstairs to the viewing gallery and also outside to view the baling process, storage of finished bales and paper recycling, so appropriate outer gear and closed toe shoes are required. Tours are offered Mondays from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm and Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Tours are not offered on Friday. The facility does not have an elevator. Each tour can accomodate 20-24 participants. If you have more than 24 participants, you will need to schedule 2 tours.

Parking: Buses may offload passengers in front of the building, next to the scale house and then park around back. Passenger cars and smaller vans may park out front next to the curbing, being sure to not block the entrance or exit.
The tour guide is scheduled by appointment and does not work at the facility, so if there is a delay it is imperative to contact Véronique Blanchard at (413)325-3472 or (413)624-0205. The tour guide(s) will not wait longer than fifteen minutes unless they are notified of the delay.
